Community Types

Long-term Care

Typically stay for the rest of their lives and require 24/7 care by licensed professionals. The nursing home becomes their home away from home. Most facilities are designed more like a home with a warm, security, safety, outdoor views and sitting areas to help residents feel relaxed.

Memory Care

Memory care is specialized care for people living with the challenges of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Trained staff tailor programs and activities to each person’s interests to help with independence and support while enjoying their individual hobbies.

Assisted Living

Assisted living is residential care for older adults who need help with normal daily activities. Assisted Living seniors receive personal care and assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed so that they’re able to live as independently as possible. Licensed professionals on site 24/7.

Independent Living

Live life on your clock. Remain independent, and say good-bye to the chores and burdens of owning or renting a home. Enjoy life’s conveniences. Fitness Classes. Stay in touch with your loved ones with enhanced technology, and making sure friends and family are always involved. Physical therapy and wellness checks. Assistance with activities of daily living, like medication reminders and shower assistance. Access to personal visits from our associates. Paying only for the services you need, when you need them. Parking for active drivers.

55+ Living Communities

These areas are designed for older adults, senior lifestyle communities do not offer any on-site medical care, personal care assistance, or communal dining. Residents live an independent lifestyle, similar to their former home.

The main appeal for many, is your neighbors are around the same age and the same ability level. Senior communities manage exterior maintenance for residents and may offer help with interior work. Active adult communities install grab bars and single-floor living or elevator for easy access to your home.

REASONS SOME MAY CONSIDER TO MOVE:

  • Socialization: Moving into a nursing home offers the opportunity to meet dozens of people their age. Much like other long-term care facilities, there are activities offered daily and they can get out and do things with others.
  • Consistent care: A nursing home provides regular check-ins and routine care all in one facility. It can be relieving for you or your loved one, especially if you may have some questions about how to provide increasing assistance from a medical perspective.
  • Medication management: This part of daily care can be very stressful for you or your loved one. Anyone can mix up their medications and with age, some folks may require more than just a few reminders to take their medications. At a nursing home, this burden is off your shoulders as nursing staff deliver medications to residents on the daily.
  • Meal Preparation: No more cooking (or dishes).

Testimonials

I met Rachal during an illness with my father in home care. As a family we did not have any idea of what needed to be done but Rachal came in and took control of the situation. She showed compassion and caring for our father. She also set up a schedule for the care takers that worked with him. These were all great people to work with, they also had the compassion and care shown by Rachal. She is honest and professional at all times and has become a family friend. During conversations with my father Rachal learned about my father and mother who both served our country in the U.S. Army. Rachal than contacted some people to see if it could be arranged for my father to be honored with a Folds of Honor Quilt. This was accomplished for which we are grateful. I have no hesitation in recommending Rachal.
